Fall Service Retreat

This year we are excited to have our first annual fall service retreat for students! This is an opportunity for our students to give back to our community and engage in joyful service together.

What: This retreat is for all students from 6th-12th grade, as well as any adults who would like to come and serve too!
Where: Church for breakfast, and then out into our community!
When:
- High school students are invited to come to church at 6pm on October 25th for some worship, a short reflection on the heart of service, and our usual Fellowship Friday hangout, complete with board games and a Disney movie! High school students are welcome to go home at any point after worship or stay overnight. For those who choose to stay, please bring a pillow and some bedding, we will have twin-sized air mattresses for you. The boys will sleep upstairs and the girls will sleep downstairs, and Noah will make sure to clean the shower so it will be available too :)
- All students, and any adults who would like to join us are invited to a pancake breakfast in the pit at 8am on the 26th, after which we will divide into teams and head out to serve!
  - Sack lunch will be provided for teams that are heading offsite, and we will gather back at church for a short debrief and prayer around 3pm.
  - We will work on a variety of service projects in our community, focusing on the needs of those who are less mobile in our congregation and some projects at church! Some projects will be indoors at church, and others will be outside (primarily yard work), so dress in layers!
  - If possible, send your student with some work gloves and a rake!
