1/15/23 - Walking tacos, and Godly habits!

Happy Monday!

Last night we ate some walking tacos, some students (re)introduced me to the Wild Kratts (who I only knew as the hosts of Zaboomafoo…), and we spent our large group time reflecting on the importance of investing in relationships. 

After Eli led us in some spectacular worship, we reflected on John 15 and the call to love one another as Jesus has loved us. Investing in relationships with one another, and considering others as more important than ourselves has a tendency to be exhausting, so we also talked about spending our daily energy budget wisely.

In small groups, we spent some time talking about what it looks like to have someone “invest” in you, and how we (even at a middle school age) can invest in others. 

Next week we are going to talk about how making a habit of telling our stories is a great way to share our faith!
